Let Me In
A remake of a Swedish film ‘Let the Right One In’ by the Cloverfield director Matt Reeves.
Although the original film based on the book of the same name is one the best films I think I may have ever seen, but I think this remake could actually be amazing.
From the trailers that have been released so far it has really reassured that its not going to be some crappy remake like so many remakes have been recently. Incidently it is actually being produced by the British horror institution Hammer Films - remember them?
Out in November follow the link to watch the trailer!

I’m not going to lie guys, I have a lot of horror films, and with tomorrow being the
‘scariest night of the year’TM
I need some suggestions for films to watch!
I’m going to lay it out there as well, I have no interest in things like ‘a serbian film’ or ‘human centipede’ or even ‘hostel’. - like my horror to be horror, not some fucked up weirdos fantasy…..
So send some suggestions my way and let’s get a good top 10 running here!
This is actually fantastic. I knew they were making a new Scream movie, whether it will be any good is debatable, but one thing that isn’t debatable is the fantastic typographical logo that the studio has come up with.
When you see so many cruddy photoshopped movie posters that look passe, and titles that look boring and uninspired, its nice to see something that would stand alone like this will. You could just whack this on a poster and people would flock to the cinema. Impact. Thats what its called.

This is seriously the most exciting news i’ve seen for a while, production will soon start on a sequel to Wolf Creek!!!
If you haven’t seen this film, you most definitely should, it subverts a lot of horror movie cliches, and thus provides an incredibly tense and unpredictable film full of heart stopping moments and a sense of claustrophobia.
Based on ‘true events’ was a slight exaggeration, but it is a finely crafted film packed with suspense and heart - and lets be honest, if you drive through the outback, hire a decent car yeah?
Chalk me up BUZZING!! :D

Beautiful.

I don’t care if people don’t like this, but I think this is a fabulous Scream 4 poster.
I’m assuming Tamer Hassan, Danny ‘facking’ Dyer, and the rest of the cast of The Firm, The Football Factory, The Business etc etc will be in this, and no matter how much I hope it is amazing, or even amazingly bad, i’m assuming it is just going to be plain bad.
A sketch I did today of a naturalistic concept for a Frankenstein’s monster to be used on a book cover.
Only uploading to appease Lara
Jess, another one of my students, has produced book covers for books based on the range of Universal Monsters, using her illustration skills to produce some really good examples, first up is Frankenstein.
