I’m assuming Tamer Hassan, Danny ‘facking’ Dyer, and the rest of the cast of The Firm, The Football Factory, The Business etc etc will be in this, and no matter how much I hope it is amazing, or even amazingly bad, i’m assuming it is just going to be plain bad.

Whoever designed this should be taken round back and put out of their misery.

This just got emailed to me.

The beauty department is part of the college I teach at.

I teach at an Art & Design college.

I face palmed.

For the record, I did not do this!!!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I hate every single thing about this font, from its unconventional letterforms, to its over use in schools (which I ended up having an argument over its use with a colleague….I won). 

Now It makes you think, why do we hate it so much? Why was it one of the first things I was told about in my degree, and warned that if I used it in any project it would be an instant fail (I think they were joking……). But most of all, can it gain redemption? Does it have a place within design somewhere? 

……And those who push the boundaries of design, isn’t it the last taboo in design? To make Comic Sans look good?

I see this too often, it frustrates me.

*Edit* Ironically, I saw this 4 times whilst trying to post this!
